The Agony in the Garden:
Ever Immaculate Heart of Mary, as His Mother, you felt within your soul a pressing sadness as your Son agonized in the Garden. He saw all the evil that would besiege him and put him to death, and yet he still entrusted himself to the will of the Father. Today, I feel a pressing sadness for (Name), as I see the evil that tries to besiege him/her. Oh, Holy Mary, the Father has entrusted the peace of the world to you, and so I beg you to protect (Name) from the enemy who seeks the death of souls.

Ever Immaculate Heart of Mary, you watched the whips tear and gouge the flesh of your Son. Grief-stricken, you gazed upon him, standing there in a pool of his precious Blood. Then, he covered himself. Mother, I am witnessing a terrible evil tear and gouge the soul of (Name). I am grief-stricken. Please do not let him/her slip from your watchful gaze. Ask your beloved Son to cover (Name) with His precious Blood, that his Scourging may not be in vain but instead, save poor souls.

They draped him with a garment as a king and pierced his head with a crown of thorns. Blood flowed down his face, blocking his vision. Most sorrowful Mother, (Name) is now imprisoned in his/her own Body. The enemy will not let up with his mockery and torments. Drape your mantle of protection over him/her, and pray with me that the Lord’s most precious Blood will flow upon his/her soul, that the evil now blocking his/her vision will give way to the light of truth.

It was your presence and your prayers that gave Him strength to embrace the Cross, where he overcame death once and for all. All gracious Mother, I have watched (Name) carry pain in his/her heart. I’ve watched him/her fall many times. And now, I turn to you. I beg for your protection and your prayers, so that (Name) will find the strength to embrace the crosses in his/her life and overcome the death Satan tries to bring about in his/her soul.

May he/she be united to the Savior, and with him, rise from the dark cave in which Satan tries to imprison him/her.
