When Mother Teresa needed urgent help and didn’t have time to pray a nine day novena, she would pray what she called the 'Emergency Novena.' She would pray the Memorare prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary nine times for her urgent petition. Then she would pray it again, a tenth time, in thanksgiving knowing her prayers were heard. This is also known as an Express, or Flying novena. The "Memorare," a Latin word meaning "Remember," is a prayer of intercession to the Mother of God. As with all things, we pray it with faith and confidence, remembering that the Blessed Virgin Mary went to Her Son, Jesus, at the wedding of Cana (John 2:1-12) and He worked His first public miracle at Her request.

St. Theresa once said, "Whatever you ask of St. Joseph, he will do." This is a short daily prayer asking for St. Joseph to intercede for your family. Place your petitions before the foster father of the Lord Jesus with confidence that God will be attentive to your needs and the needs of your family. Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet with us while meditating on the passion of Jesus. Jesus himself revealed the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy to St. Faustina and asked her to pray the Chaplet unceasingly. Jesus promised the following 4 things to those who pray the Chaplet: 1.) This prayer will serve to appease My wrath. (476) 2.) When this chaplet is said by the bedside of a dying person, God’s anger is placated. (811) 3.) This chaplet mitigates God’s anger, as He Himself told me. (1036) 4.) It [the chaplet] appeases the anger of God. (1565)

Jesus and Mary appeared to a young man in Nigeria Africa and taught him several prayers that we have come to know as the Precious Blood of Jesus devotion... which is Bishop-approved, carries an imprimatur, and is based on Scripture (1 Peter 1:19) which says, "You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.” Among the Precious Blood devotion prayers taught to the Nigerian man, is a short, but powerful 12-word prayer, "Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, save us and the whole world.” Exorcist priest, Fr. Jim Blount, who has a healing ministry says that demons must flee from the power of Jesus’ blood, and recommends we pray this short prayer 500 times a day (as the Virgin Mary recommends). Fr. The St. Joseph Holy Cloak Novena is a prayer devotion that is to be prayed every day for 30 days in memory of the 30 years which the great Saint Joseph is said to have lived with Jesus and Mary. Many, MANY miracles and graces have been attributed to the intercession of St. Joseph through this novena. This novena petitions the heart of St Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus and the patron saint of workers and families. In the book "The Mystical City of God" by Venerable Mary of Agreda, the Blessed Virgin Mary said, "In virtue of these special privileges the intercession of St. Joseph is most powerful: first, for attaining the virtue of purity and overcoming the sensual inclinations of the flesh; secondly, for procuring powerful help to escape sin and return to the friendship of God; thirdly, for increasing the love and devotion to most holy Mary; fourthly, for securing the grace of a happy death and protection against the demons in that hour; fifthly, for inspiring the demons with terror at the mere mention of his name by his clients; sixthly, for gaining health of body and assistance in all kinds of difficulties; seventhly, for securing issue of children in families.” The Blessed Virgin also told Mary of Agreda, “I assure thee, my dearest, that he is one of the greatly favored personages in the divine presence and has immense power to stay the arms of divine vengeance...That which my spouse asks of the Lord in Heaven is granted upon the earth and on his intercession depend many and extraordinary favors for men, if they do not make themselves unworthy of receiving them.” Finally the Virgin Mary told her that God, “looks upon St. Joseph with generous liberality, ready to shower down its marvelous mercies upon all those who avail themselves of his intercession.”

This is a heartfelt prayer for every night. Come to God at the close of the day, ask Him for forgiveness, grace, healing, and strength. Petition His heart on behalf of those in need. And surrender everything at His feet. It's a complete nightly prayer before bed. And the soothing music will also help prepare you for a restful sleep.
